During a routine inspection
The manager and coordinators of the service told us that any referrals for the service were carefully considered before a care package was offered. This meant that people can be assured that their care needs will be fully met.
People who used the service had a care and support plan that was discussed and agreed with them. We saw the way the service appropriately updated and recorded information about people's care and support needs.
Staff told us they had received training in safeguarding vulnerable people. We saw systems were in place for the action needed when and if any concerns were identified.
People who used the service were very complimentary about the support workers. They told us that the workers were pleasant, helpful and respectful. One person told us of the support they received to help them get over a recent illness, "Nothing is too much trouble for the workers, they do all they can to help, I am very pleased with the service".
During our inspection we identified that adequate systems were in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service.
