During an assessment under our new approach
4ME&U LTD also known as Devoncare is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. Not everyone using the service received a regulated activity; CQC only inspects the service being received by people provided with 'personal care'; help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this assessment, 3 people were receiving personal care from the service. We carried out an offsite assessment and site visit. This is the first assessment for this service. The overall rating for the service is good.
People were protected and kept safe. Staff understood and managed risks. Staff knew people well and had the rights skills and experience. Managers made sure staff received training and regular appraisals to maintain high-quality care. Staff worked with all agencies involved in people’s care for the best outcomes. People were involved in decisions about their care. People knew how to give feedback and were confident the provider took it seriously and acted on it. Leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive, helping staff develop in their roles.
