Equity in experiences and outcomes
People and relatives told us examples where they felt well supported by staff who were kind and caring and the positive impact this had on their lives. Their comments included, "We’ve established a trusting communication I’m impressed by the way the staff do their best for my [relative]" and, "I am grateful for all the support we’ve had from the council, [name of registered manager] and the GP.”
In our review of people's records, we found care plans were person centred and planned around people’s needs. However, we also found records relating to mental capacity assessments and best interest’s decisions were not always fully completed. After our inspection, we received some examples of this being recorded.
