Our view of the service

Beeches Care Home is a care home. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as a single package under one contractual agreement. We carried out our site assessment on 12 February 2024 and finished on 13 February 2024. We looked at 5 quality statements: Safeguarding, Involving People to Manage Risks, Safe environments, Infection Prevention and Control and Medicines Optimisation. People felt safe at the service. Care plans contained information about risks associated to people's care and support. Medicines were managed safely. There were areas in the kitchen that had not been adequately cleaned and food hygiene protocols had not always been followed. We requested an action plan from the provider.
