Updated 13 May 2024
We carried out this assessment from 4 June to 19 June 2024 and visited the site on 4 June, 10 June, and 13 June 2024. We looked at all quality statements from the safe, caring, and well-led key questions. We found areas of concern and good practice. The scores for the effective and responsive areas are based on the key question ratings from previous inspections. Our overall rating of this service remains requires improvement. We found 3 breaches of legal regulations in relation to safe care, person-centred care, and governance arrangements. The provider did not always assess or mitigate risks to people’s health and safety. The environment was not always safe or in a good state of repair. People’s care plans were not always person-centred. The provider did not always oversee the service effectively to monitor quality and safety. In instances where CQC have decided to take civil or criminal enforcement action against a provider, we will publish this information on our website after any representation and/ or appeals have been concluded. However, staff received safeguarding training and knew how to report abuse. Staff felt supported and regular team meetings took place. The provider worked with external health professionals in relation to people’s care needs. Staff supported people kindly.
