During an inspection in response to concerns
"The staff treat me with respect. They are nice to me'
'They are very kind to me.'
' I have made progress in the home. I am now attending a course.'
' On the whole, staff are pleasant, but there are times when they have difficulties with some residents who may be difficult to deal with.'
We observed that people who use the service were treated with respect and dignity. Staff were seen talking with people who use the service and checking if they were alright. They were seen trying to engage people who use the service in various activities, including food preparation and going out.
People who use the service said that on the whole they felt safe. However, two people who used the service said they had experienced conflict with other people living in the home and one of them indicated that at times they felt unsafe.
