During a routine inspection
We found people's needs were initially assessed before they received care from the service. There was documentary evidence people who used the service and their relatives were encouraged to visit the service before the service began.
People were risk assessed before they received care to ensure their safety and welfare. There was documentary evidence people's care was delivered in a person centred way that met their personal needs. We saw documents which demonstrated that people received care that met their needs. Person centred care plans (PCPs) identified people's likes and dislikes, physical well being and daily routine. There was evidence that risk assessments were completed before people received any care, which ensured their safety and welfare.
We found people had health action plans in place which set out how staff would support people to maintain a healthy and balanced diet and engage in exercise.
