During a routine inspection
We spoke with one relative who was very satisfied with the care and treatment their relative had received and they told us that they had no concerns. Their comments included: "My wife really likes it here because it is calm." "We can request to see a doctor whenever we want."
We found that patient's treatment, care plans and assessments were person centred and had been reviewed at regular intervals.
Systems were in place for the control of infection so that patient's health and safety was promoted. We found the service to be clean. Patients told us how well staff cleaned each bed area after use.
We found that the staffing levels provided reflected the service's contract with the NHS.
We saw that the service had a procedure in place to deal with complaints. Patients told us that if they had any concerns that they would speak to staff.
In this report the name of a registered manager appears who was not in post and not managing the regulatory activities at this location at the time of the inspection. Their name appears because they were still a Registered Manager on our register at the time.
