During a routine inspection
We observed positive interactions between people who used the service and staff. One person told us about the improvements to her health since she had lived at the home and said "When I first came here it was after a fall at home and I struggled to get around. I've been here around a year and am feeling much better". People who lived at The Willows had access to a number of different activities that benefitted their welfare.
People told us they felt safe living at The Willows. Staff showed a good knowledge of types of abuse, possible signs of abuse as well as how to report suspected abuse.
There were enough staff working at the home to meet the needs of the people who used the service. Staff were also appropriately trained and supported by the provider.
Records within the home were accurate, fit for purpose, kept securely and confidential.
