During a routine inspection
People told us they were happy with the care they received. One relative told us, 'I think they are exceptional. They have been very helpful and flexible.'
We saw detailed care plans which ensured the care met people's needs and was delivered safely.
Care workers told us they asked for consent before providing care. One care worker told us, 'I ask what they would like and if they are ready.' A relative told us, 'They are good at asking for consent.'
Care workers received training on medication. Care plans recorded people's medication. Care plans also recorded who was responsible for ordering and administering medication.
We saw there were appropriate systems in place for the recruitment of staff. Records showed all necessary checks were completed before people started work.
People told us they knew how to raise any concerns. One relative told us, 'The manager is good. If there is the slightest worry she comes and sees us.' Records showed concerns and complaints were listened to and appropriate action taken.
