Governance, management and sustainability
The management team understood the challenges the service faced and ongoing actions required to ensure good quality sustainable care. External professionals’ input had been welcomed. All staff felt able to raise any suggestions or concerns with the management team and were confident any necessary action would be taken.
The provider was developing an electronic auditing system. This was a new process and not fully operational. However, this showed there was a process for monitoring all aspects of the service and had identified the issues with care plans/risk assessments we found. There was a provider level service development plan which considered all aspects of the service.
