During a routine inspection
People with whom we spoke confirmed that they were generally satisfied with care and attention provided by staff. It was reported by the people using the service that if they required assistance staff would respond promptly. This was confirmed by the visitors with whom we spoke who said that they felt involved with the care provided to their relative. One person told us that their bedroom had a good view of the gardens.
People with whom we spoke confirmed that the food provided was 'good' and a choice of meals were offered by staff including meals prepared for people who found it difficult to chew and swallow. Visitors to the service were able to confirm this and said that they were generally happy with the meals provided to their relative.
Relatives with whom we spoke told us that they felt able to approach staff with any concerns that they may have around the care provided to their relative and were confident that staff would address these immediately whenever possible.
