During a routine inspection
People told us they were involved in the assessment and care planning process. They told us they had a copy of their care records held in their homes. We saw staff had the guidance they needed to meet people's needs. Enablement workers and managers demonstrated a sound knowledge of the needs of the people whose care we looked at in detail. They were confident that the service met people's needs and was responsive to people's changing needs.
People described their enablement workers as, 'Very caring' and considered they were competent in their work. We saw staff received a range of training to equip them with the skills and knowledge they required to keep people safe and to meet their individual needs. Staff told us they were well supported in their work.
We found the service had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service and to gain people's views to help drive improvement.
