During a routine inspection
We spoke to two representatives of people who used the service. They told us that they felt included in the care that was given and said that the home had a 'homely' feel that meant they could 'sit back and rely on the staff'. They also said that they were happy with the care that was being given and that they had confidence in the staff at the home. They added that the home had 'fantastic social activities' which included days out and garden parties.
People who use the service told us that they were happy with their rooms and said they all had been allowed to personalise them to their own taste. One person who used the service had decorated their room how they wanted it and told us this had not been a problem.
People who use the service told us that there are usually enough staff on duty to provide the help or support needed and that if they ever wanted help they would 'just ask'.
