During a routine inspection

People told us that the care they received was "good". Another person said, "it is very quiet and I am very happy here. I don't want to change anything.The staff are very nice and ask me what I want and help me."

A relative said,"the staff are very caring, we are happy with all the care he gets, if x is happy we are happy."

People were supported to access health and social care professionals when required with their consent. We found that the staff were caring and knew what they were doing when assisting people with their needs.

People who use the service were positive about the staff who supported them and said staff were always there to help them when needed. They told us the staff were "caring."

People said they would raise any concerns with the manager or their relative or friend. Relatives were aware of who to complain to and said their complaints would be listened to and resolved by the manager to the best of her ability.

During a routine inspection

People said they felt supported by the staff team and that they were included in decisions about their care as far as possible. They told us that staff were kind and respected their privacy.

People told us that staff talked to them about their care needs and let them know how and why they were supporting them. One person commented, 'I like it here.'

People who use the service told us they felt safe at the home and that they would talk to the manager or staff if they were concerned about anything.

People told us they felt safe with the staff working at the home.

Relatives spoken to said that they were happy with the way their loved ones were being looked after at the home and that the staff were meeting their needs well. They told us, 'It's quite a good service she seems happy there.'

A relative said, 'At the moment I have no complaints. X is being well looked after and his needs are being met.'

Everyone we spoke to said they knew how to make a complaint and who they would talk to if they were not happy about anything.
