During a routine inspection
People who used the service were involved in discussion and decision-making around how their care and support was delivered. People were listened to and could influence the care planning process.
The service was provided from a well maintained and safe building. The building would not be suitable for people with severely restricted mobility. The landlord, who was responsible for the building's maintenance, undertook their responsibilities diligently.
The service provider had a thorough recruitment and vetting procedure which helped to ensure that people who were employed at the care home were of good character and suitable to work with vulnerable adults.
The service provider had a written complaints procedure. People using the service were confident that if they had a complaint it would be dealt with appropriately.
