During a routine inspection
People expressed their views and were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. One person told us they were supported to make choices on how they wanted their room to be. The person said "Staff helped me to choose the colour I wanted my room painted and I like it because it's my colour".
People received the care and support they required to improve their health and well-being.
Risk assessments and care records were written in detail and provided clear guidance to staff members, and evaluations of care plans were completed.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Communal and domestic areas of the home looked clean and hygienic.
There were effective recruitment and selection processes in place and appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
People were made aware of the complaints system. People were made aware of the complaints system. This was provided in a format that met their needs.
