A person said, 'They give my relative the right support working around their capabilities and bring out the best in them.' Another relative said, 'It's about ensuring a good quality of life for my relative and they are very good at it.'

We found that the provider had made improvements to their safeguarding systems and ensured people who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse and supported by suitably trained and skilled staff.

One person who used the service said, 'they are good and quite hard working', another person said 'they support me with my daily chores and help me get about, like going to the doctor and to the cinema'. A parent of a person that used the service said 'the carers are very good, they ensure my son is moved correctly and safely and provide his personal care in a dignified way'.

We found that people were supported by detailed plans which included the related risk assessments that ensured the care delivered maintained their safety and welfare. We spoke with some of the carers who told us that the training they received gave them a good understanding of how to meet people's needs and what to do if there were any problems.
