During a routine inspection

People told us they were happy at Wood House and enjoyed living there. They said that they enjoyed the company of staff and were treated with dignity and respect. They told us said that their privacy was respected and that they felt cared for. There were several activities arranged for them and they had the opportunity to visit places outside the home.

During a routine inspection

People who use the service told us that they like living at the home, and that they feel well cared for.

Staff had a good understanding of peoples' individual needs and of their preferences in relation to the support they require.

We observed the staff supporting people to be independent and encouraging them to make choices about what they wanted to do.

The environment of the home was well maintained, and the atmosphere calm and relaxed.
