During a routine inspection
People who used the service were provided with care plans but the provider needed to ensure that these documents were better organised, accessible and updated when required. People said they felt safe living in the home and were able to discuss concerns or issues with the staff if they wished to. We saw that the people using the service were involved in planning their care and able to determine how their support was provided for them.
We found that the environment did not meet the standards that were required. There is no evidence of recent improvements in the home particularly in relation to furnishing, fittings and decoration.
Staff received training and supervision to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and care for the people they supported. From examining files we found that suitable staff were employed to work in the home.
