During a routine inspection
People said they visited the service before deciding to move in and were given information about what to expect from living in the service. One person said 'I feel I have a choice about how I lead my life', another person told us 'I have freedom and can go out in the community when I feel able to'.
People told us they felt 'safe' in the service and that if they had a complaint they would feel able to talk with staff.
People said they knew why they were on medication and confirmed they knew what they took and the side effects were explained to them. People were supported, if they felt able to, to self medicate and take responsibility for looking after their own medication.
People confirmed they could contribute their views about how the service was run and that their views would be listened to.
