During a routine inspection
The house was clean and homely and people had the equipment they needed. One person was keen to show us their bedroom which they had been involved in choosing how to fit out and decorate. The people who lived in the home were well presented and seemed relaxed and comfortable in their home.
People were supported by a registered manager and a small team of care staff who knew them well and understood their need. The care records showed people were treated as individuals and their support was given in line with their preferred routines and choices. People's health needs were met and they went into the community regularly and accessed activities they enjoyed. One person's relative told us they had been kept informed about their family member's care and any concerns. They were able to raise any issues and felt their views had always been considered in all important decisions.
