During a routine inspection
Individual support plans showed that support was person centred, and plans reflecting individual choices about how support was to be delivered.
We were also able to see individual weekly activity planners that outlined a variety of individually tailored activities including: college, bowling and swimming although there was little opportunity for external activities during evenings.
Staff told us that families were all involved with the service and had regular communication with regard to care and support needs as well as arranging for people to go home for visits.
The registered manager was available each week for families to visit to raise any concerns in addition to being available via phone. We were able to see that staff received good levels of training. Supervision was provided regularly to guide staff in their work and to provide encouragement and support. Staff were well supported by the team coordinator and registered manager.
