During a routine inspection
During the visits comments from people included;
the staff were 'kind and helpful', 'staff are very caring and keep the place clean' and 'I feel like I can talk to the staff and they do listen to me.'
One person commented,' it's a happy home and the people smile.' Someone told us they received the medical care and treatment they needed.
Some people told us they thought more staff were needed at times but other people told us there were enough staff. One person said, 'the staff are good here.' Another person said, 'The staff are kind and good but I do not think there are enough staff particularly on nights. All staff understand my needs and are very kind.'
One person's relative told us that they did miss having a manager here at the home and did believe the home would be generally better if there was one here. People who used the service felt that if they had something to complain about they would speak to a senior member of staff and they generally felt appropriate action would be taken.
