During a routine inspection
When we visited we spoke with three people living at the home, the manager, deputy manager and another member of staff.
People appeared happy and relaxed. They told us staff always asked their permission first before they did anything to help them.
People told us they were happy living at the home, some of whom had lived there in excess of ten years. One person said, 'I like it here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.' We saw good interaction between people living at the home and the staff who supported them.
People told us there were enough staff on duty all the time to meet their needs. We saw this was so when we looked at the off duty rotas.
There were systems in place to monitor the quality of the services provided at the home. Any actions needed to improve the service had been taken.
