During a routine inspection
Overall, people were happy with the service they received. One person told us, 'I only have three hours a week of care, but it really makes a difference. They do housework, or sometimes just sit with me.' A carer of someone with complex health needs told us, 'They're absolutely fantastic. The care they provide is spot on, and I don't know what I would do without them. I can leave them with my daughter, go and do some shopping and not think twice.'
The service had assurance systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided and to gain the views of people. Staff received regular supervision and attended training that was relevant to their role. People's care plans had up to date risk assessments and people had been consulted about their care plans.
