During a routine inspection
Everyone we spoke with told us they had received a thorough consultation. They said they had received enough information to make an informed decision about their treatment options. People said they were given time to consider these and were told they could always change their mind.
People described the staff as 'kind' and 'helpful'. They considered staff were efficient and knowledgeable about the range of procedures. Staff confirmed they had attended training courses appropriate to their role and felt supported in their work.
Staff were aware of their role and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding vulnerable people. They were confident in their responses in what they would do if they suspected abuse.
People had access to a complaints procedure. They told us they had not had cause to complain but were confident any concerns would be listened to and appropriately addressed.
