During a routine inspection
People were asked for their consent before care or support was provided and staff acted in accordance with people's wishes.
We observed that the care that people received was safe and appropriate and met their needs. Their comments included, 'It's nice here.' and 'It's a good home. My family visit me. It's right nice here and I love it.' A family member said, 'It's brilliant. [Family members] really happy, which in turn makes me really happy. All the staff are very good. It's like 'home from home'.'
People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. A family member told us they had no complaints about the cleanliness of the home.
Staff were properly trained and supervised and had the chance to develop and improve their skills.
There was a complaints system available and people had their complaints listened and responded to. A family member said, 'I'd have no concerns complaining. Staff are all so friendly. If you have any problems, you just say so and it's dealt with. There's no problems there.'
