During an inspection in response to concerns
One family member stated that the staff were very good and there was no language difficulty even as English was the majority of staff's second language. However, it was stated that they do talk over the service users in their own language.
During a visit to the home family members stated that the home looked very tired and was in great need of re-decoration. Also that it has taken a long time to get the lack of lift facilities sorted out.

During a routine inspection
Individual comments confirm that people's hygiene needs are met: 'They take time to groom'; 'They were very good in changing her, keeping her clean'.
Direct quotes from relatives' group meetings include "The meals are always very well presented and look really good."
The satisfaction survey includes positive feedback about staff: 'The staff were attentive and helpful I cannot fault them at all'; 'They are on the ball'; 'They were friendly and helpful'.
