During an inspection in response to concerns
There were however some very positive comments made in regard to the staff. These included compliments about the dedication of some of the staff to 'go that extra mile.'
The general view was there were not enough staff to provide the quality of support people want. We were told 'they are lovely but they're pushed for time.' And, 'there's no one about to talk to, the staff are too busy to spend time discussing progress.'
Visiting professionals told us about problems in assessment and care planning that affects continuity of care and leads to a lack of confidence that people's changing needs will be recognised and met.
