We observed kind and caring interactions between staff and people living at the service We received mixed feedback from people around their interactions with staff. Care notes indicated that staff didn't always know how to support with distressed behaviour.

Staff supported people with dignity and respect. Staff were prompt in supporting people with their clothing to maintain their dignity in communal areas within the home.

Staff spoke kindly about the people they were supporting.

Visiting professionals spoke positively about the care and support being provided by staff. One professional felt there had been improvements at the service in recent months. A professional told us that one person was being supported in line with their care needs and that staff had been receptive to their needs.

Staff treated people with dignity and kindness. Staff supported people to go outdoors safely. We observed staff supported people discreetly with their care needs to help maintain their dignity. We observed staff supporting people with good humour.
