During a routine inspection
People confirmed that activities were offered but that these were not necessarily of interest to them. Some people told us that there was not much to do during the day and people spent their time watching television or sleeping. Others told us there was usually something to do and they particularly enjoyed the external entertainer who visited most Fridays.
Visitors to the home told us that they felt the care was very good, people were well cared for and had all their needs met.
No one we spoke to could remember if they had ever been offered a choice of gender support. Some people said it did not matter to them but others said they would prefer same sex support for intimate personal care, if it was offered.
People who use services told us that they had never been mistreated and felt safe.
One person told us that they would like more opportunities to socialise as they got lonely and only had the staff to talk to
