During a routine inspection
We met the deputy manager and four care workers. We talked with them about how they supported people who used the service to meet their needs.
We found that people had positive opinions about what life was like for them at Hayleigh EPH. Comments made included, 'They are all lovely to us'. 'We get wonderful food'. 'It's not too bad here'. 'The staff are alright to me'. 'We went on lots of trips in the summer' and "they treat us all equally".
People's needs were met by staff who were kind and caring to them. However care planning process failed to show how to effectively meet people's needs.
There were a sufficient number of competent staff to effectively support people with their range of needs.
People were able to make complaints about the service if they needed to. When people made complaints these were properly investigated.
