During a routine inspection
Relatives told us that they were free to visit their family at any time and stay for as long as they wanted. They told us that they were able to speak to the manager and let him know what their views were.
People living in the home said that staff were very pleasant and knew what they were doing. However, they felt that staff were under a lot of pressure to carry out their tasks quickly and didn't have enough time to spend talking to them.
People enjoyed the varied food choices they were given and particularly liked being able to eat in the dining room areas in the home.
Some people contacted us before our visit to tell us that they felt the home could provide more support to their family member's who could not eat or drink independently. However, they were very complimentary about other aspects of the home such as its standards of cleanliness.
