During a routine inspection
People told us that they had personal plans and that they had consented to the support in these plans. When students were not at an age to consent for themselves their parents consented on their behalf.
The students had comprehensive personal plans to help them to work towards independence. They also had risk assessments so that any risks to themselves or to others were managed safely.
The staff had all the right checks before they started work, to make sure they were suitable to work with people. They were suitably qualified and experienced.
All the necessary records were being kept. These were up-to-date and accurate so that people received the right support and were kept safe. Records were locked away to protect people's confidentiality.
