During a routine inspection
The care and treatment was provided in clean warm well lit and appropriately equipped private rooms. Information about all the services and treatments provided were easily accessible to people using the service. People we spoke with told us they felt they were involved in decisions about their treatment. One person told us "everything is explained to you, they give you treatment information to take away and think about. Its one of the best places I've used, a lot of my friends come here too".
There were systems in place to ensure there were always adequate staff available at the walk in centre to provide a safe and efficient service and respond effectively to an emergency. There were suitable arrangements to ensure people using the service were safeguarded and protected from abuse or the risk of abuse. There were systems to monitor record and evaluate the quality of the service provided and people's feedback was actively used to make improvements.
