During a routine inspection
"The staff are not hurried to do their work and go the extra mile"
"They will stay as long as it takes"
"My needs are met absolutely"
"Without them my relation would not have been able to stay in their own home"
"No one else compares to them"
"I feel totally safe with them-they are like family to me"
"Staff are knowledgeable and well trained"
"They always ask me what I think about the care"
"They are brilliant-better than a five-star service"
"They are professional and my initial assessment was very encouraging"
"They are very kind and know what they are doing"
We spoke to three members of staff. They told us:
"There is so much training, nothing could be better"
"They always listen to us and try to accommodate us"
"My induction prepared me for my role and I did not start work until all my checks came through"
"They are very supportive and nothing could be better"
This visit found that the health and wellbeing of people was promoted through the approach of staff and the maintaining of accurate records relating to care. People were protected from harm through arrangements adopted by the agency. Further protection was given through the robust recruitment of staff. The needs of people were met through the training available to staff. People benefitted from a service that monitored the quality of the support it provided.
