During a routine inspection
We looked at two care records and all had up to date support plans and risk assessments in place. This meant that the service demonstrated they could meet the people's needs.
We spoke to four staff members, they confirmed they enjoyed their job and that the training was good. They said the staff team worked well together and that the senior team were supportive and very pleasant. Comments included "The staff team work well together" and "I really enjoy working with the service users."
We contacted Cheshire West and Chester local authority who confirmed there were no issues of concern with this agency.
We spoke to two visiting professionals who commented "The person I visited today appeared happy and smiling and they would have indicated if they were unhappy about anything", "I think the interaction with the staff is very good and friendly", "The manager is good and will contact other professionals for advice and support when necessary." A social worker commented that there had been some concerns with staffing levels during the night. This issue is known to the manager.
