During a routine inspection
We looked at all four people's care records and found their needs had been assessed and were regularly reviewed and updated every month. A member of staff told us, "I meet with the person I'm key worker for and look at their care plans. If the person wanted a change in the plan, I would talk to the manager about changing it."
We found the manager and staff showed good awareness of procedures for identifying abuse and how this should be reported. The provider's policy was clear and gave clear instruction for staff to follow. All staff had completed appropriate safeguarding vulnerable adults training.
The manager told us about their recruitment processes for staff. One member of staff said, "I had to wait for my DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service check) and references to be clear before I could start working with people."
The provider monitored the quality of the service on a regular basis and required actions from the manager to implement changes when required. We found the service sought the views of people and responded to comments received.
