Staff understood people had a right to be treated equally and fairly. They understood that people had different religious and cultural needs and how they would support them in these areas.

Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who were most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes. Staff received training in equity and diversity and care, support and treatment were delivered in response to this. The provider had a policy in place which staff understood and followed.
