During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this assessment visit on 4 June 2024. This assessment visit was prompted by concerns raised by the Police service, local authorities and Integrated Care Boards. We found that children and young people using the service were not safe and were at significant risk of harm. Some children and young people had already come to harm whilst living in the service. As a result of the significant findings, children and young people were moved out. This meant we were not able to assess all the quality statements we had planned to assess as regulated activities were no longer being provided. During our visit we found evidence that the service was in breach of regulations around providing safe care and treatment, consent to care and treatment and good governance. In instances where CQC have decided to take civil or criminal enforcement action against a provider, we will publish this information on our website after any representations and/ or appeals have been concluded.
