During a routine inspection
Each individual had a personal support plan which made care more individualised.
We were able to speak with two people who used the service who told us: "I am always treated with respect", "The carer's are always on time and stay until everything is done, it's also good to chat as well with them".
Rosie Nightingale Homecare had effective systems in place to ensure the safe management of medications. Staff had guidance from a current and comprehensive management of medication policy. When we spoke with clients and their relatives comments included: "I have no issue with medication, they always arrive to make sure X has it", "I get my tablets on time, they always make sure of that".
We saw staff were suitably trained to carry out the roles and responsibilities of their employment. The service had a robust induction and shadowing programme in place to support staff
The service had an appropriate complaints system in place. There was a policy and procedure which reflected an effective system to acknowledge and respond to any complaints made.
Records relevant to the management of the services were accurate and fit for purpose.
