St Bridgets Care Centre is registered to provide personal care to up to 12 people. Nursing care is not provided. At the time of assessment, the home was supporting 8 people, including people living with dementia.
The assessment took place between 21 October 2024 and 25 October 2024. We visited the service on 21 October 2024. During this assessment we inspected quality statements under the key questions of safe, responsive and well-led to check the provider had followed their action plan to make improvements following our previous inspection.
We found the service had made improvements and the provider was no longer in breach of regulations. The rating has changed from requires improvement (published September 2022) to good.
People's experience of the service

The provider and registered manager had established improvements within the home since our last inspection. Governance systems were operating effectively, and the registered manager used feedback from people and their relatives as an opportunity to develop the activities offered by the service.
People’s rights were respected, their individuality supported, and they were treated with dignity and respect. People and visiting professionals had confidence in the management of the home and told us the registered manager was approachable. A person living at the home told us, “Being able to talk to the [registered] manager or the owner saves all the messing around. I am really contented here; this is by far the best care home I've been in and that's how I feel about it.”
