During a routine inspection
People told us that they could choose how to spend their day and were given choices of times to get up, to go to bed, have showers or baths and participate in activities. They said that they felt safe and knew who to speak to if they were unhappy. They told us: 'If I am not happy there is a carer I can speak to and also the boss'. 'There is always someone you can talk to'. 'If they can help me they will'.
Systems were in place to monitor the quality of care and service people were receiving. People told us: 'It's like home'. 'Staff are marvellous every one of them'. 'They are always ready to help and you can't beat that can you'. 'Laundry comes back beautiful and clean'. 'If I ask them to do something they always remember even if they can't do it at the time they always remember to do it'.
