The assessment began on 12 November and ended on 25 November 2024. 202 Weston Road is a care home providing personal care for up to 4 autistic people, people with a learning disability and people with mental health needs. At the time of this assessment, 4 people were living in the home. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. This assessment was carried out to check whether the provider had complied with the warning notice issued at the last inspection, in respect to breaches of regulation regarding person-centred care, need for consent, safe care and treatment, premises and equipment, and the governance of the service. We found significant improvements had been made and all breaches had been met. The overall rating for the service has changed from inadequate to good based on the findings of this inspection. This service has been in Special Measures since 19 March 2024. The provider demonstrated improvements that have been made. The service is no longer rated as inadequate overall or in any of the key questions. Therefore, this service is no longer in Special Measures.
