During a routine inspection
We spoke with four people who used the service, including the parent of one person. All of whom told us they were very happy with the care provided to them. One person told us, 'They always make me feel at ease.'
We reviewed six people's records which showed the treatment plan was documented in writing to people, including estimates. General dental health advice given to people was also clearly documented within their records.
The practice operated effective systems to reduce the risk and spread of infection, one person told us, "It's always clean and tidy".
We reviewed six staff files for various healthcare professionals and found that appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work ensuring people were cared for by suitably qualified and experienced staff.
We saw that there was a comprehensive complaints policy available to people and displayed in the waiting room, which described a robust procedure.
