The last assessment for the service took place between 22nd April 2024 and 8th May 2024. During this assessment we looked at 21 Quality statements. Staff administering medicines to people lacked appropriate skills and knowledge. Risk assessments for people were not always in place or reviewed. There was a lack of provider’s oversight of people’s quality of care. Support delivered to people was not always measured and evaluated. The provider missed opportunities for identifying concerns we found during this assessment. People were not always treated as individuals and staff did not always understand people’s individual preferences or recognise these. Assessments of people’s needs were not always carried out. People’s care plans were not always person-centred. People’s individual needs and preferences were not always met. People were not always provided with information in a way they could understand it. People’s care needs were not always discussed with them prior to them moving in to the home.
