During a routine inspection
Patients told us they were consulted regarding their treatment and that all options were explained to them including the various treatment costs before treatment commenced. They also said the dentists were very thorough in their assessments and asked them various questions relating to their current health status.
We saw that children and adults who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse because the provider had procedures in place to identify the risk of abuse and to prevent abuse from happening. We also saw that various checks were in place for vetting staff which ensured patient's safety.
Patients were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.
Patients were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.
The provider had effective systems in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
