During a routine inspection
We looked at a sample of four patient records which demonstrated that at each visit general health details and medications were updated and soft tissue and palette examinations were noted.
We spoke with four patients during the inspection who all spoke positively about their experiences each time they had visited the practice. Comments included;
'It's brilliant. I don't think I could go anywhere else. I'm really comfortable here'
'I've been coming here since I was young and it's good every time. If I ever need to make an emergency appointment they make it so simple'.
'I have always had a fear of going to the dentist but when I come here they really do make me feel at ease. The dentist always talks me through my treatment which is good'.
'He is great. I'd describe him as efficient, friendly and chatty. He shows an interest in me and my hobbies as well which I like'.
The practice had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided. Audits were undertaken on a regular basis which included x-rays, infection control, patient records and medical histories.
