During a routine inspection

During our visit to this surgery on 19th January 2012 we spoke with five people who were waiting to see the dentist or the hygienist. Everyone we spoke with told us that they were treated well. People told us that their options were discussed with them before treatment commenced, giving them the opportunity to make informed decisions. For example, one person told us that the type of his filling available was discussed with him and he understood which would last longer and which would look better. He told us that he had been given sufficient information to make an informed decision.

People told us that they were happy with the care and the treatment they received. One person said, 'My wife and I are really happy coming here. We are treated well and it is unusual to ever have to wait'. Another said, 'I have not had any problems with the treatment I have been given. I keep my appointments so I must be satisfied'. We were told that the surgery was always clean and that the staff wore gloves and glasses and offered them eye protection to wear during treatment.
